The Shire of Coppertree has been invited to participate in the Rome Renaissance Festival, August 23-24th (10:00am to 5:00pm both days), representing the Society for Creative Anachronism along with several other re-enactment groups. Proceeds from this festival will benefit nonprofit community service organizations in and around Rome (Red Cross, MDA, Welcome Hall, just to name a few) and a $5 donation is encouraged. Our Shire will be setting up a tourney field for SCA combat and fencing, as well as presenting arts and crafts demonstrations. We hope you will join us in making this new festival fun and exciting. Wear your good garb, come out and show off your stuff!
